Kansas Advancing Excellence Initiative

National Initiative
The Local Area Network for Excellence (LANE) is the group in Kansas working to get the message out about
this campaign.  Please
click here for a full list of Kansas participants.  The goal of the local campaign
leaders was to have 60 percent of the nursing homes in Kansas sign up for the Campaign.  This goal was
met on September 26, 2007!  The LANE also considers it more important to have the facilities that sign up
be actively involved and committed to improving the goals they selected.  We would rather have 60
committed nursing homes than 370 that have just signed up.  As the local support system for the AE
Campaign, we urge participants to use the following tools listed.  Every member of our group feels that if you
follow the steps through the implementation guide, you will see a difference.  We also ask that you call us for
anything else you need.
